[ He nods, making a note about possibly asking for Bastet as a reward or some such for her in the future. James maneuvers a leg between Bela's own to apply friction through his twists and dips. With how short his swim trunks are, it's impossible for him to miss the heat radiating from Bela's groin against his exposed skin; it only fuels the building desire. ]

Then she realises that he's asked her a question so Bela pauses to answer. ]

He doesn't think that he'll be able to resist kissing her once they're behind the hushing, closing elevator doors. ]

[ She matches the smile with one of her own, a little thrill of excitement running throughout her. Maybe this was inevitable, Bela can't tell for sure, but she's very glad that it was happening now. When he takes her hand to bring her to the elevators, she disposes of the glow stick with her free hand, setting it down on a serving tray. Probably not where it should go, but she doesn't really care about that right now.

Bela is the one who pushes the call button when they reach the elevators, jabbing it a couple of times as if it would make it arrive quicker.

Which it won't of course, but it's a signal of her interest to get him somewhere private, and fast. ]

[ Though he laughs through his nose, it isn't malicious. ]

[ That's when the elevator dings to life and the doors slide open. It's a relief. ]

[ He doesn't answer, just simultaneously hits the second floor button while pulling Bela into the elevator and against him, his hand fitting to the back of her neck as he dips down to capture her mouth with his own. ]

[ Part of her felt that he would pull her in for a kiss once they got inside the elevator, but it still manages to take her breath away as she cups one side of his face with a hand, the other resting at his side.

They likely didn't have much time in the elevator, unless he planned to continue kissing her down the hall until they reached his room. For now, Bela chooses to focus on the kiss and take her time to explore, trying to feel out for what he likes. ]

[ Not enough time, and yet James reaches down and picks Bela up, guiding her legs around his torso and balancing her on the barely-there handrail, rocking against her and the wall as he kisses her deeply.

The ding announces they've arrived on the second floor and it warrants a minor growl of frustration from Holden. In conjunction to his rougher affections, he breaks the kiss gently. ]

[ She's also smiling, even laughing a little as he carries her down the hallway. It's safe to say that Bela is finding enjoyment in being brought like this to his room as she didn't expect it. There isn't anyone else around, but she isn't sure what time it is. ]

Good. We might just need to apologise to him afterwards.

[ Not overly concerned, but she can't promise that she'd be quiet. ]

[ It's adorable, and James may or may not definitely bounce Bela once or twice to keep the soundtrack of her laughter playing.

He's attempting to unlock the door while also keeping an-one-armed hold on her, again using the wall for support (but this time for practicality more than sensitivity), when she mentions a fruit basket, and it has him bursting into laughter and somewhat losing his grip, which only elevates the hilarity of it all. ]

[ Luckily for her, she's still holding on tight when he starts to laugh, and Bela can see the funny side of it. She also enjoyed hearing his laugh, finding it quite endearing. So she joins in with him, though hers is more of a giggle than anything else. ]

Maybe you should put me down. [ Said between giggles as she tries to catch her breath. ] But it's nice to hear you laugh, so you've got me to thank for that.
